Another day with the homies
Sunday is usually a day for leisurely activities and a melancholy style thinking. Everyone is tired, it's the last day you have to collect your sanity before school or work starts, and you just generally feel bummed out. My day, just like many other Sundays, began this way. I was sleep deprived, sore, and I lacked the motivation to do anything besides eat and watch videos on my phone. I slumped around until about 2, when I decided it was best to get out of the house and have a nice change of scenery. I went to Target and purchased a new pair of headphones, and then I went over to a Subway near Dax's house where I met up with Dax and Russell. Russell's visit was short lived, however, due to him being sick. Dax and I continued skating after his departure and went around the area in search for new, fun places to skate. After 2 hours of casual skating, we ended up back at his place where we skating and talked to a few of our friends over snapchat. It was around 7 when I was picked up, and I must say the day was truly spectacular.
Day with the homies
Last Saturday was an excellent day. It began as any usual Saturday morning would, waking up at 8, walking downstairs to get cereal, and skateboarding until about 12 in the afternoon. After my usual Saturday morning rituals, I was left with nothing to do but watch Youtube videos and go through all of my social media platforms. After 5 hours of repeating this vicious cycle, my god friend Russell offered to pick me up from my house and go street skating. I obviously took him up on his offer and shortly after we arrived at his house my other good pal Dax arrived. We skating until 7:30, and we were then taken to Octopus Sushi to meet up with other amazing people such as Kian, Aubrey, Alexa, Chanel, Liz, and Nathan. After waiting an hour to be seated, we ordered our food and had excellent conversation while enjoying excellent food. We all talked for nearly 2 hours before we parted ways, and Saturday proved to be a truly emaculant day.

Skateboarding
I want to dedicate this blog to the love of my life, skateboarding. For about three years now, i've been riding my board everyday pushing myself to be better than I was the day before. People look at skateboarders and wonder how anyone could be so passionate about pushing around on a wooden toy and falling countless times, trying a trick thousands of times until you land it perfectly, and sacrificing your well being just for the satisfaction of doing one single trick. Im passionate about skateboarding because theres nothing else like it. No other sport gives you the freedom to play how you want to, be your own coach, and gives you the oppurtunity to push yourself like skateboarding does. Skateboarding to me isn't about being the best in the world, or doing the craziest things. Skateboarding to me is going out early in the morning with your friends and just pushing around your city, front yard, or wherever it may be. It's about spending time with your friends, and pushing each other to try new things and constantly progress. No matter how long or how little you've been skating, or how good or bad you are, skateboarding is about constantly having fun. If you aren't having fun, you're not doing it right.

The Mall.
Last Friday, I along with several other friends went to the Topanga mall. We had all decided to go to the mall because it was a rainy day, and our plans prior to this had been cancelled. Once we arrived at the mall, we immediantly began to partake in shenanigans and hijinx. We spent a large amount of time in Target playing hide and go seek, and were only yelled at maybe three times at most. During this time at Target, we tried on glamorous hats, kicked over suitcases, and overall had a very pleasant experience. After two hours of being in Target, we decided to head out into the further depths of the mall. We seldom went in stores, but instead walked around having pleasant conversation and greeting kids from school who we recognized. At about 7, we decided to wind down and all enjoy a large beverage of cherry lemonade, and wait for our ride home. My friends mom, Michelle, picked us up at about 7:30, and our car ride home was filled with conversation about fond memories, the perfect way to end the day.

Street Skating With My Bud
Today was a day filled with glamorous events and remarkable sights. This beautiful day was started off with a bowl of oatmeal that satisfied my hunger and dazzled my tastebuds. Then, I shuffled all of my belongings into the car as I began my quest to school, where to my surprise, my bud Russell Dave Knapp was waiting for me. We talked for a few minutes, our conversation being interupted by the occasional skateboarder passing by. The middle of the school day went by quickly, and lunch was filled with good laughs and conversation. Before I knew it, the day had ended and Dax and I began skating to Starbucks where we made plans to skate at a nearby hill. Once we arrived at the spot, we immediantly began landing bangers for my Instagram, which you could see @naawsty.After a solid 30 minutes of shredding, we went toStarbucks and grabbed some nice refreshments.

Why you should follow me on social media.
I know by the title of this blog you can only assume that I am an atrocious social media addict who has fallen prisoner to his phone, and rightfully so. The reality of this situation is I am neither of those things ,(I think) and this whole blog is a joke. But since nobody reads my blogs and the internet is a perfect place to exploit yourself, I thought I might as well enlighten you about my social media platforms and why you should pay them a visit. To start things off, you can find all my social media by typing in @naawsty. I tend to frequent Instagram and Snapchat, so if you want to get to know me without really knowing me, those are the places to go. My social media varies in content, ranging from skateboarding from either my friends or I, funny videos, and yes, the occasional picture of myself. I try to limit my content to only that of the highest standard, and its proven to have worked well so far. People i've never met before have recognized me from my social media, and I have even coined the nickname "naawsty" after my social media platforms. So, if you want to see this amazing content for yourself, feel free to checkout out my social media. Don't forget to like, subscribe, retweet, favorite, or add me.
Palm Springs
My extravagent journey to Palm Springs California began last Saturday, at around 5:30 am. My brother, Robert, was participating in a national competition called "Odessey Of the Mind". This competition took place about an hour and a half away from my house, which was conviently on the way to Palm Springs, our final destination. The competition began at around 7 and ended at about 11. During that time, I skated through the surrounding neighborhood, got some food, and overall had a pretty good time. After the competition was over, we continued our voyage to Palm Springs, and arrived a mere 2 hours later. Once situated in our hotel room, my family and I lounged around the pool deck until we became weary from the hot sun overhead. We then ventured off into the town, and explored a few shops before driving back to the hotel room. The rest of the night proved uneventful, and I decided to cut it short by going to bed at 8:30. The next day, we dined in the hotel resturaunt and shortly after checked out of our room to begin heading home. On our way home, we stopped at an outlet mall where I purchased some new Polo Ralph Lauren clothing. I slept through the majority of the ride home, so now would be the appropriate time to conclude this blog.

Pedlow part 12352
Last Friday, all of my best buds went to pedlow skate park for the 12352 time. This story began the same as most of my other visits to pedlow, all of us getting out of school, skating to the liquor store, then boarding the bus. After a bus ride filled with good quality conversation and a few good laughs, we reached our destination. We got off the busing skated for a few minutes until we reached the nearby skatepark. Once we arrived, everybody separated into different sections of the park. Everyone had certain tricks they wanted to land before the day ended because our bud Ryan needed footage for a youtube video which he's currently working on. After about two and a half hours of skating, we decided to get going before it got totally dark. On our way back to a friends house, we stopped in a nearby park and talked for about twenty minutes and then proceeded to walk home. Once we arrived at our friends house, we hung out in his trampoline before parting ways shortly after.

Sky High
A couple of weeks ago, my friend Jade invited me to go to Sky High, along with several other of my friends and classmates. After a long week of anticipation, the date finally arrived and I was very exited to go to Sky High with all my friends . The session was between 9-12, so I had a lot of free time before it was time to go. I went over to my friend Maxs house, and we skated around the front of his house and went on his trampoline in the back yard. Unfortunately, I completely shattered my phone in the trampoline, but it's alright now so there's no worries. After what seemed like an eternity, we finally left for sky high. When we arrived, most of my friends were there and they waited with us in line for a few minutes. After we payed our admission, we immediately began jumping. We went all around the facility, and we're spinning and flipping all over the place. Every few minutes we took a break to drink some water or talk to a friend. We were there for about 2 and half hours before we departed, and all of us were feeling we're tired.
Pedlow extravaganza
This is something that happened a few weeks back that I forgot to write about, so I might aswell right about it now. This story starts on a Friday afternoon, right after school got out. All of my friends decided we were going to go to Pedlow skatepark for the Dc shoe demo. Nobody really made definate plans, so Max, Russ, and I were left to skate to the bus stop 2 miles away. After a good 20 minutes of skating, we arrived at the stop and casually waited for the bus while we drank ice teas that we purchased from across the street. After a good few minutes of waiting we boarded the bus and in no time at all we arrived af the crowded park. Many of my favorite professional skaters were there, and all my friends and I were lucky enough to talk to them. All the people there were super nice guys, and it couldn't have been a better experience. Towards the end of the demo, everyone got into the big bowl and DC threw in product for everyone to try and grab. After 5 minutes of that a rider for Dc, T Funk, jumped in the bowl and crowd surfed. He's truly living the life.

Sk9lab
Yesterday, January 23 2016, I went to skatelab with some of my best buds. Skatelab is an indoor skatepark in Simi Valley that my friends and I frequently visit. Before I arrived at skatelab, my pal Dax arrived at my house at about 10 in the morning. After sitting on my couch for about 30 minutes discussing Pokemon and My Little Pony fan fictions, we finally left the house. On our way there, we stopped at Dunkin Donuts to get some fresh beverage and donuts. We finished eating our delicious breakfast and after 30 minutes of intellectually stimulating conversation, we arrived. When we got there our other pals Max, Ryan, Michael, and Matthew were there. We payed our admission fee and began to shred it up. We skated for about 3 hours when Michaels mother ordered pizza for his 14th birthday. While we were eating, we even made it onto skatelabs snapchat, which was pretty radical. After stuffing our faces with breadsticks and pepperoni pizza we started to skate again. We only had about 30 minutes left to skate, but in that time everyone managed to do some cool tricks and have a good time.
